Stovetop Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2/3 cup raisins

 

 

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add oats and stir until they are brown and crisp, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour toasted oats onto a cookie sheet to cool.
  4. Melt the butter in the same pan.
  5. Add the honey, sugar, and salt. Stir until bubbly.
  6. Pour toasted oats into pan.
  7. Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
  8. Add sunflower seeds and raisins. Stir.
  9. Pour granola onto cookie sheet.
  10. Spread granola around in a layer on the cookie sheet.
