Conductive and Insulating Dough (Do not eat)!

Conductive Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¼ cup salt
  • 3 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • A few drops of food coloring

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients in a pot
  • Turn heat on.
  • Stir continuously until the dough form a ball in the pot’s center.
  • Let it cool.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface until it is nice and smooth.

 

 

 

Insulating Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • A few drops of food coloring.
  • ½ cup distilled water

Directions

  • Mix flour, sugar, vegetable oil, and food coloring in a bowl.
  • Add the distilled water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring after each addition.
  • Add water until it forms a ball of dough in the middle of the bowl.
