Balsamic Vinaigrette, Student Chef Approved.


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Pour balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper into a bowl. Whisk until combined.
  2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil, whisking furiously until oil has become emulsified (or until you lose patience).
  3. Taste. Adjust amount of honey, salt, and pepper, if necessary.
  4. Enjoy with salad, bread, or use as a dipping sauce for vegetables.
